C.H. Robinson continues to grow its global presence and today announced its acquisition of Australian firm APC Logistics.
APC Logistics has had a long-standing exclusive agent relationship with C.H. Robinson for business in Australia and New Zealand. The deal, closed on Sept. 30, adds APC’s more than 3,000 customers and suppliers in Australia and New Zealand into Robinson’s fold.
“We are excited that APC Logistics is now part of C.H. Robinson,” John Wiehoff, chairman and chief executive of C.H. Robinson, said in the statement.
C.H. Robinson will finance the $225 million acquisition through its existing revolving line of credit. The deal is expected to be “modestly accretive to earnings.”
“This acquisition allows us to add great talent to our Global Forwarding team and advances the strategy to expand our global network, we welcome APC’s customers and suppliers and our new colleagues to C.H. Robinson.” Continued Wiehoff.
